As some programs are ending applications for their summer programs, we are still accepting applications on a rolling basis until June. If you have students who are interested in writing or exploring careers in media and communications, suggest they apply to our online Boston University Summer Journalism Academy.  In our Writing and Reporting sessions, our award-winning journalists work with students to show them how to follow facts and get to the heart of stories affecting their communities. Students will have the option to publish one of their stories on our Academy’s website, The Terrier , for their college admission portfolios. Do you have students who want to explore their creative side? Suggest they apply to one of our Photojournalism sessions. Our instructor and veteran photojournalist, Stephen Haines, will help students sharpen their camera skills to teach them the basics of visual storytelling.  No matter what session your students select, they will learn practical skills that they can apply to any career. Two-week sessions begin on June 21, July 5, and July 19. Students have the option of picking which session(s) they would like to attend. To learn more visit our website.
