Greetings from Baylor Admissions! We can't believe March is already here! We're sooo ready for those March winds to blow in some warmer weather. As we head into spring, we have lots of exciting things coming up. Here are some important updates for your Baylor applicants:  UPCOMING DATES: NOW: The Housing application is open! NOW: Math ALEKS is available for students to start testing. Please encourage them to start early as this can take a while to complete. March 15: This is the deadline for accepted Early Decision 2 students to pay their non-refundable $500 deposit to secure their spot. April 1: Orientation & Line Camp Registration opens. This is a big deal for your students, so please encourage them to read the information and be prepared for the open date. April 1: Students can begin to fill out the New Student Advising Questionnaire in goBAYLOR, which allows them to share information about potential college credit they plan to transfer to Baylor as well as update their planned major. This information is important for getting advised during Orientation.  April 10: Regular Admission applicants will receive a decision no later than this date.  May 1: This is the priority date for students to submit their Housing Applications to participate in Roommate Matching and Choose Your Own Room.  June 1: This is the final deadline for accepted Early Action and Regular Admission students to pay their non-refundable $500 deposit to secure their spot. PRE-COLLEGE PROGRAMS Applications for Baylor's pre-college programs are open! And course listings are now online.  With Baylor's Accelerate program, current sophomores and juniors can begin their academic pursuits at a discounted rate and get ahead on core course requirements that not only will apply to a range of Baylor degrees but may also be transferable to other universities. This is an especially great deal for rising high school seniors. If a rising high school senior earns a 3.0 GPA in at least 9 Baylor hours, they will jump to the front of the line for admission into Baylor’s incoming class of 2022! Baylor's Summer of Discovery program is perfect for Baylor-bound graduating seniors. Featuring an innovative collection of discounted courses, classes will be taught by Baylor faculty in the supportive Christian environment that is a hallmark of a Baylor education. Students will learn alongside their peers and also have the assurance that these classes will support most degree plans and majors. UPCOMING EVENTS On April 10, high school students can Zoom through BU's award-winning campus, virtually experience college life, and ask questions of our talented faculty and staff at Baylor's Premiere event.  And beginning March 26, we have 3 Know Where You're Going Day events, where accepted students will be able to attend lectures with Baylor professors, hear from New Student Programs and Campus Living & Learning, and learn about their next steps in the enrollment process. Encourage your Baylor-bound students to pick a day that works for them.  We also always have ongoing ways for students to stay connected and get their questions answered, including virtual tours and webinars, such as our cultural diversity and inclusion discussions and student life spotlights. With so many offerings, students are sure to find a way to connect that will fit with their schedule.
