Dear All, With summer fast approaching it is a perfect time to encourage your students to consider a Precollege Summer Program at the University of Miami. Students receive a unique opportunity to explore their academic passions, potential college majors, and future careers with these exciting programs. They will enhance their college resume while developing critical time management and independence skills to help them thrive in their college careers. Check out our brochure here.  High school sophomores and juniors can gain an authentic college experience and earn six college credits in a variety of academic areas in the Summer Scholars Program.  Some of our exciting new college credit program offerings for 2022: Fintech: Decoding Cryptocurrency and Blockchain Technology Law and Indigenous Advocacy and Social Justice Movements Industrial and Systems Engineering: Fundamentals in Work Design, Project Management and Digital Solutions for Engineers For students looking to get hands-on experience in a more condensed format, we also offer our two-week, non-credit UM Academies for an intense experiential learning environment open to freshmen, sophomores, and juniors.  New for 2022: Spanish Immersion Academy: Español sin Passaporte Students choose from a wide range of academic specialties in the fields of healthcare and medicine, engineering, technology, business, communication and media, marine science, and much more.  SPEAK TO AN ADVISOR PROGRAM WEBSITE Students are encouraged to apply early for the best chance of placement in their first-choice program. Applications are processed on a rolling basis and must be fully completed to be considered. With a waiver code, the application fee is reduced to $50. Please note that refunds/discounts cannot be issued once the application has been submitted.
