JOB TITLE: Summer Camp Counselor 

MANAGER: Director of Summer Camp LOCATION: 201 Marin Blvd, Jersey City, NJ 07302 WHO WE ARE: We are GRIT Sports Training! A new Parkour, Sports Training, and Gymnastics/ Tumbling gym focused on kids, teens, and adults. Last year we held a very successful Adventure Summer Camp serving over 200 local families. We opened just before COVID hit and have survived and thrived because we had GRIT. We teach that nothing is easy and that it takes GRIT and Perseverance to achieve. Our students walk out ready to face any challenge. Our team is the most important part of our business model and we treat everyone like family. We have big plans and are looking for amazing people to join our movement. 

Are you a talented athlete and/or over-achiever? Looking for a great summer job that's fun and rewarding? 

While we would love our team to have prior coaching experience or to have competed competitively in gymnastics for this role, it’s not a requirement. Do you love kids? PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Mentor and coach campers ensuring they have a fantastic, safe and positive summer camp experience 

Provide a GRIT focused customer service experience welcoming customers and visitors as family 

Learn to sell the GRIT story 

Arrive early and ready to go 

Have a Safety First attitude and mindset
