Where Learning Meets Passion Summer Scholars is a two-week program on campus through which students participate in one of 24 diverse programs of study and earn a college credit. Here are some of our favorites! Musical Theatre Dive into key aspects of acting technique, scene analysis, musical idiom, movement, and vocal technique as you explore both the creative and analytical processes of musical theatre. Christianity and the World Religions Explore the great world religions from a historical and theological viewpoint, learning basic practices for a greater appreciation of the spiritual paths of other faiths. Russia and the West How do Russians view the West? Consider this complex question with a historical sweep that will range from the reign of Peter the Great (1682-1725) to the era of Putin and Trump. Gender and Culture in American Society Get an introduction to key themes in the interdisciplinary academic field of gender studies, focusing on how gender shapes—and is shaped by—popular and public cultures.
