ATTN: Juniors & Sophomores RE: HBCUs

Current Juniors, Sophomores, and their families are invited to an informational webinar on Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCUs) that will take place on Zoom at 6:00 PM on the evening of Tuesday, May 14th, 2024

The webinar will be co-hosted by Lycée Français de New York's Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, & Belonging, Dr. Angela Gittens, and its Director of College Counseling, Mikael Perreau. Joining Angela and Mikael will be representatives from three HBCUs, and they hope to also have the participation of at least one student currently enrolled at an HBCU.

The webinar will cover the origin and history of HBCUs, the current landscape of HBCU admissions, the benefits of applying to & attending an HBCU, and a quick look at the particular characteristics of the universities represented by our three panelists. At the end of the presentation, there will be ample time provided for Q&A.

Please click here to register and receive a calendar invite, Zoom link, and password for the webinar.
