Winter Sport Leadership Academy Please share this opportunity with your students! Online Pre-College Program for High School Students January 3 - 7, 2022 Taught by the #1 globally ranked Mark H. McCormack Department of Sport Management, UMass Amherst's winter term sport academy is a one-week seminar focused on the modern front office. Students will learn about both the modern sport franchise as well as the ecosystem surrounding it, with a specific focus on Fenway Sport Management (FSM) and their properties.  The program includes live Zoom lectures from faculty in the UMass Sport Management department as well as Q&A with UMass alumni working in the sports industry. Students will also engage in in-class discussions and complete asynchronous assignments, readings and case studies.
