Financial Aid 101 Workshop Friday, October 23 | 11 – 11:45 a.m. Dear Colleague, As we progress through a very different fall application season with significant changes to our personal and professional lives, the Rutgers University–New Brunswick admissions team hopes to ease the financial aid application process for you and your students by hosting our second counselor program of the academic year.  During our Financial Aid 101 workshop, our financial aid staff will provide an overview of the financial aid process, including discussion of the FAFSA and NJ Alternative Financial Aid Application (NJAFAA), need-based aid and grants, priority deadlines, and campus-based funds. We'll then wrap up by responding to any questions you may have related to the topics. Catholic Colleges Fair

 

2nd Virtual Catholic Colleges Fair!  They could be entered into the applicant pool for our National CCAA Scholarship (see details below) Date of Virtual Fair: Thursday, October 15, 2020 Time: 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. ET Spread the word to your students! Over 100 of our Catholic colleges and universities are participating in this free event. Please note the following: Student registration is required to participate in the fair. Only one registration per student, please. *New for this fair* High school juniors, high school seniors, and transfer college students who actively participate in the fair by chatting with college representatives will automatically be entered into the applicant pool for our National CCAA Scholarship for the year in which they are eligible. We will follow up with these students following the fair. Spanish Financial Aid Presentation

Gonzaga (DC) will be hosting a Virtual Financial Aid Presentation in Spanish on Tuesday, Oct 6 at 7 pm (Eastern Standard Time)) via Zoom. The presenter is an Associate Director of Financial Aid, Ms. Jamille Medina, at Saint Joseph's University (PA). Registration Is not required. All are welcome. However, many students are sitting for a SAT or ACT in October and have asked the question about submitting scores after a November 1 ED/EA deadline.
