Early Action &Important Dates for Penn State

As you know, the process of applying to college requires keeping track of lots of dates, deadlines, application requirements, essays, scholarship details, and so much more. We want to help you make this time as easy as possible for your students, which is why we have listed below some of the most important dates for you and your students to know as they move through the Penn State application and admission process. Take a look, review, and be in touch with us if you have questions.

IMPORTANT PENN STATE DATES

August 1, 2020

Applications for undergraduate admission become available.

October 1, 2020

Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) becomes available.

November 2, 2020

Schreyer Honors College priority filing date.

November 15, 2020

Penn State's Early Action filing deadline.

December 1, 2020

FAFSA recommended filing date.

December 24, 2020

Early Action applicants will receive their decision (admit to Penn State, deferral of decision, deny).

February 2021

Early awarding of student aid begins for applicants in Early Action.

May 1, 2021

National Decision Day (enrollment deposits are due).
